Dichotomy | Bronze

Which element is more prevalent? The woman, the paint, the bronze? Is there struggle among the elements? Is there a dichotomy between the paint, or the pose, or the expressed?

Presented in two different forms (a studio ‘catalog’ image and an exterior ‘in situ’ pose) each woman expresses herself as she might be seen in a 'catalog' for the ‘BRONZE STORE’, and then realized as she might have experienced herself during her years ‘in situ’ in the gardens of an estate.

A dichotomy of hope and fate; of a personal reality and an actual reality; of expectations, limitations, or perhaps opportunities. Narratives told over time.
